Riders in the Storm

Superbikes 2024 at Knockhill was a fantastic day for photographing the bikes but not so much for the riding them, the rain hardly stopped over the two full days I was there. Full rain gear for both me and the camera and I was still drenched through and became the butt of many a “Drookit” from others watching. I decided not to take shelter in the stand but to “weather the storm” in the hope of better photographs which panned out well. The photographs I captured that day have done incredibly well in competitions throughout the year. Rain halted play on a few occasions to get the water hoovered up from the track. I was using the canon R5 with the 200-400 f4 which worked out well
